Lifestyle Apartments at Syracuse is looking for a Day Porter (Janitor) to join our team. The Day Porter (Janitor) will clean, sanitize, and maintain both public and back of house spaces.

The ideal person for this position has experience, enjoys working individually or on occasion as a team, is well-spoken, energetic, and personable.

Hourly Pay Range: $16-$22 (Based on experience)

Responsibilities: 

• Clean trash and debris from exterior parking lots and apartment building walkways
• Remove trash from inside buildings and take to dumpster
• Vacuum, sweep or mop all common area carpet and tile floors
• Touch up cleaning of laundry rooms
• Cleans all glass in the vestibules of all buildings
• Cleans all common area restrooms
• Sweeps all stairwells
• Cleans trash rooms and trash cans
• Additional Items:
• Assists in the cleaning of vacant units
• Assists in other items as needed, i.e. landscaping, minor maintenance items, grounds maintenance and being available for emergency situations

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Detail-oriented, confidential, and professional
• Ability to read and speak English
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and reach, bend, lift and pull
